Orange County CBD was established in 2019 after two friends visited California with the intention of finding the best quality hemp, the Directors searched the state for the best product to bring back to the European CBD market. After the development, production and launch of the brand Orange State have become one of the most respected and well known in the field.

What is CBD:

CBD is a cannabinoid which is the name given to the chemical which interacts with the cannabinoid receptors we all have in our bodies.

CBD is short for cannabidiol which is one of the many compounds in the cannabis plant, there are also many varieties which have different levels of these compounds. CBD has no psychoactive effects, and will not get you high, these e-liquids contain 0.2% or less THC which is the psychoactive ingredient in cannabis.

Often people confuse CBD with the cannabis that is illegal in the UK as they are derived from the same plant but so is hemp rope. CBD E-Liquids are derived from industrial hemp specially made for vaping so when creating a CBD e-liquid only the species of the plant with very low THC levels are used and only the CBD extracted, what is left is the relaxing, healing properties of the plant.

What is CBG:

CBG is the parent molecule from which over 120 identified cannabinoid compounds are synthesized. CBG is found in smaller quantities in the cannabis plant usually around 1% as oposed to CBD's 20-25%. CBG is processed by the body’s endocannabinoid system which is made up of molecules and receptors in our bodies that are responsible for keeping our bodies in an optimal state regardless of what’s going on in our external environment. Our body contains two types of cannabinoid receptors—CB1 and CB2. CB1 receptors are found in the nervous system and brain, while CB2 receptors are located in the immune system and other areas of the body.

CBG works by binding to both receptors where it’s thought to strengthen the function of anandamide, a neurotransmitter that plays a role in enhancing pleasure and motivation, regulating appetite and sleep, and alleviating pain. Unlike THC, CBG has no psychotropic effects, so it will not give you a high
