The coil is an essential component in your device as well as an important part of your vaping experience. As well as commonly being known as vape coils, you’ll also see them referred to as atomisers or atomiser heads. So, what is a vape coil?

E-cig coils are comprised of a coil of thin wire and cotton/silica/wood pulp/ceramic wicking (90% being organic cotton). The wire and wicking are then heated up as you press the power button on your device, this, in turn, heats your e-liquid and produces the vapour itself. In short, they’re integral to your enjoyment of the flavours and clouds of your favourite vape juice.
The right coil for you really depends on how you prefer to enjoy your vaping experience, some users prefer a vape coil that will use less liquid and last for longer periods throughout the day, though a result of this will be the vaping device produces smaller clouds. For those vapers who enjoy thick clouds, only sub ohm tanks will give thick clouds assuming the correct e-liquid is used (usually higher VG) thanks to their higher output, though they use a greater volume of liquid.
